26 Weeks with Avery and Harper

Please excuse the quality of the picture. It's hard to take in the hospital room.

How Far Along: 26 Weeks
Size of baby:
Gender: Two precious girls...Harper Faith Kendle and Avery Ryan Kendle
Maternity Clothes: Now I'm wearing PJ's and gowns since I'm on bed rest.
Weight gain: 12 pounds total
Sleep: Still love the body pillow!
Symptoms: Just a little cramping from the steroid shot. The nurse assured me that it's not enough cramping to change my cervix much.
Cravings: Nothing in particular.
Best moment this week: Seeing my belly move all around. They have been very active lately!!
Pregnancy Highlights: The network of nerves in your baby's ears is better developed and more sensitive than before. They may now be able to hear both your voice and your partner's as you chat with each other. They are inhaling and exhaling small amounts of amniotic fluid, which is essential for the development of their lungs. These so-called breathing movements are also good practice for when they are born and takes that first gulp of air. And they are continuing to put on baby fat. Harper 26 Weeks

Avery 26 Weeks
Notice how similar their profiles look. It will be interesting to see how much they look alike.
